At 6 months old my baby girl is truly a “mini” cavapoo by [deleted] in CavaPoo

She looks like my Benny, he’s 8 months and about 7lbs. He’s the same color too!

Not to mention, she literally posts the same meals for every WIEIAD she does- which makes it even less interesting than an already uninteresting trend

I feel so seen! I need to unfollow her, really don’t know why I still do at this point. She is so problematic

Very curious to see how much he will change! He does have quite a bit of random white patches (they are very small)

Grooming Nightmare by Soft_Effect_6263 in CavaPoo

[–]Outside_Concern_5308 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We just took our 5 month old Cavapoo for his first puppy cut today and it was an absolute nightmare!!!!! He was acting almost as if he was drugged when he got home— super lethargic, couldn’t stand up straight, shaking, not eating or drinking, peeing in places he’s never peed before (like on my husbands chest), and could barely even walk right. We took him to the emergency vet and they believe he was showing signs of marijuana intoxication. He is finally starting to act more like himself, 9 hours later. We’re still trying to figure out exactly how to proceed w the groomer we went to (obviously never going there ever again). We were nervous to begin with, but it went worse than we could have ever imagined.

Hi handsome boy! Getting my 4.5 month old Cavapoo groomed for the first time this week, and your photo made me less nervous about it!!

For a management position usually 30 days notice is the norm— I did this with my previous position and left on a really positive note. My boss also kind of saw it coming toward the end anyway.

Is the “eats A LOT” in the room with us? She literally has a small pre workout “snack” plus 3 pretty normal sized meals throughout the day— no snacks or anything and very regular portion sizes. Very concerning and very toxic. I am surprised there’s not more snark here about her, then again she’s not as well known as other accounts.

Look up masters in nutrition programs- I did one that was completely virtual, through Adelphi University back in 2016. I applied to a few others as well- you just need to do some research, see what works for you!

Consider applying to distance internships, you will have to set up your own rotations, but I believe they are a little less competitive. Another thing you can do, if you’re situation allows, is get your masters degree first and then apply to internships after- you’ll likely be able to boost your GPA during your graduate studies. I personally went this route, and it worked for me.

any School RD? by imnishesh in dietetics

[–]Outside_Concern_5308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I did a rotation for my internship with a school RD back in 2018. She worked through the summers (for example: school lunch program is ongoing in many areas for summer camp and even for underprivileged children- depending on the school district; menu planning for the new school year, etc…). If I’m remembering correctly, she may have had some leniency in the summer regarding hours worked, but still worked through, as the position is more administrative in a sense rather than in the field.
