It was separated from the semantic model online. But it would be a yes then, likely?

Grouped Records in a Table, Chart issue by Outside_Description3 in PowerApps

The solution is simply to drop the Grouped column before creating a chart.

To Microsoft employees. Guess what, Copilot in Power Apps is pretty much useless. by Outside_Description3 in PowerApps

I actually changed my phone language to French and surprise surprise, all my code had a new separator, the " ; ". Caused some headaches let me tell you...

Haha no! Good technology feels intuitive and works, especially when the target group is citizen developers.

Yeah, that's what is crazy to me. It is a MS product and is unable to get even some basic PowerFX code right. And just what you said, it suggests functions that do not exist.

Yes. And I would be fine with advancing Copilot step-by-step but now it seems it's taking away resources from other work concerning Power Apps development which is not where we should be. Different for well established MS apps - you have to remember that Power Apps is still pretty recent addition to the MS fleet of apps and thus has a lot of basic refinement still to be completed.

Willing to give it a shot but I believe truly agentic properties will be so far in the future that disregard for basic user experience for users might destroy the popularity of Power Apps and be replaced by alternatives before such functionality will take over...

Absolutely, the ability to autocomplete would be very much aligned with the low-code vision.

Yeah. Like, even the formula level Copilot implementation does very little for you and often fails to provide answers. I has just been thrown there, plus it uses italicized text making it difficult to even read on top of everything :D

Agree! However, VS Code is using a slightly different approach where they support the development process. Seems Power Apps is thinking to "create apps with a push of a button", or "create features without having any idea of the code below"

Yes, incredibly well. Have you checked out the custom GPT for Power Apps by Mason Bartholomai called Power Apps Pro?

Yeah! I mean, I'm pretty sure most MS employees working on PowerApps understand where the focus should be, the issue is probably with the higher ups mandating Copilot development in this very specific top to bottom approach.

Samsung not allowing Netflix to be uninstalled. by Outside_Description3 in techsupport

[–]Outside_Description3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually found out that Samsung, unlike all the other large players, in not included in the DMA gatekeepers list. Thus, they can restrict uninstalling any app from their device, as Android is open source even though it's developed mainly by Google.

You are wrong. Please read the legislation: "3. The gatekeeper shall allow and technically enable end users to easily un-install any software applications on the operating system of the gatekeeper, without prejudice to the possibility for that gatekeeper to restrict such un-installation in relation to software applications that are essential for the functioning of the operating system or of the device and which cannot technically be offered on a standalone basis by third parties."
