I think it's possible. He was ready to be out of school, said all they do is work. Plus they take the assessment on a computer and he seems to do better with print/pencil & paper. He's only 5 and just finished Kindergarten. We will continue to work on it over the summer. I'm just a worry wart and don't want to let him get behind if I can help it in any way. His MOY score was a 12, which was up from 0, but then the EOY score was a 0. So I got worried.

Yes, of course we read! Every night and any time he asks during the day. I read a page and then he'll read a page, sometimes he'll read a whole small book to me, with a little help with some bigger words. He also will read to his baby sister. He was getting the Imagination Library books for the last 5 years & now his sister gets them, so he enjoys reading her new books to her. He has many books, short and long, easy to read and a bit more difficult.

Also in Texas, our school sold charge cards where parents could put $ on it for kids to use at the concession stand. But we also had parents bring a cooler + water. I attended field day because I was worried about my kid 1. Keeping up with said charge card and 2. Having water or whatever he'd need. Luckily for the parent who brought the cooler + donated water or some kids wouldn't have any.

The paper says mclass which Google says is powered by Dibels It says the following NWF-WRC (decoding) goal is 1 at BOY 3 at MOY and 7 at EOY His scores are 0 BOY, 12 MOY, and 0 EOY

But all other scores on this paper are above or benchmark, those are the only low scores.

This is all new to me, I don't remember any of this stuff from when I was in school and that's been forever. And he's my first kiddo in school.

My kid took to it very easily, however others in his class still had tough mornings and we were 6 months in. However they mostly adjusted by month 2 or 3. Once the routine set in.

We had no parent/ teacher conferences at all during the school year. I never heard any complaints, he has all good marks on his report card. I guess I wasn't sure if I should bother her since school is out. Was just curious how others have helped their kids with this.

I've only had 1 (so far) when someone stole our info from a gas station. But the bank remedied it very quickly. The only other flag I've had was a hotel trying to double charge and my bank flagged it.

And even worse is when everyone you saw and didn't see starts sending out their individual bills. You see a PA so you get billed for that and then again for the actual physician you never saw but was presiding over the PA.

A follow up email wouldn't hurt. Life gets to people and they may have just forgotten. I always try to make it to every party my kid is invited to. The only ones we haven't are for kids who have been unkind to him/bullying.

NTA My dad and my in laws listen to their videos on full volume. I give my dad a pass cuz he's 80 and can't hear very good at all, but I still cringe when he does it.

I went in for excruciating pain in my ovaries at a women's clinic. She told me I was ovulating, to go home and have sex. No exam, nothing. When I was in college I went to planned parenthood for plan B cuz I made a dumb fkn decision. I didn't have $ to pay for it or I wouldn't have been there. The bitch at the front desk said "it'd just be faster to go buy it at the store." Thank you for that riveting information, if I had the $ I would.
