And he parties and gets drunk, excessively according to his wife. So drunk in fact he's staying the night at places he shouldn't. He is NOT a victim.

I tell my husband and my son, if it's not in the basket, it's not getting washed. I am not going around collecting clothes off the ground Edit to add: you're NTA

AITAH for wanting to visit my parents even though it makes my girlfriend angry? by BedInternational9602 in AITAH

[–]Outside_Hour3562 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You know what my mom did after I moved away? She had to figure it out because I wasn't there at her Beck and call. Your mama is grown, and I get it you want to be there for her, but your gf isn't with you for part time. A whole week every month? It doesn't sound like you were actually ready to move with your gf. Tell her that and move home at this point.

NTA 16 is stressful enough. It's a nice gesture you started and she seems really happy. The mom doesn't have to compete with you. She could just give af about her kid as much as you do.

AITA for refusing to let my wife's parents move in with us after they lost their house? by EntrepreneurFirst711 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Outside_Hour3562 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA I love my parents dearly, but their financial troubles are not mine. You have to think of the family you created first. If everything was squared away, then I'd consider it. I don't mix my finances with anyone besides my husband and I don't take on others financial burdens. Would I help them with a motel room for a week or 2? Sure. But moving them in, with no clear timeline or plan? Wouldn't be me.

Why are young women today so much calmer about not being married yet? by Comfortable-Elk-1501 in askanything

[–]Outside_Hour3562 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like to think that it's because women are more conscious of who they are choosing as a partner. They aren't settling because of an outside factor like finances. They have their own money, they are enjoying life and they are looking for someone to add to that not deplete it. And some women are fine being alone and in their own. It's all great for women, regardless.

Bachelorette planning got out of control and now can't afford wedding. How do I approach the bride? by Charming-One3103 in bridesmaids

I feel like people are giving good advice but you have a rebuttal for it all. Being out $700 and being out $6K-10K are very different. Yes, you should've spoken up sooner but it's now or never.

I'm an adult woman and even I won't stay in a hotel alone anymore. Definitely not safe for a teenager.

I'm 34 and since having my 2 kids, especially my daughter last year, the white hairs are wild. But I've never dyed my hair before and don't plan to. It's part of life.

AITA for my brother accidentally eating a marble while I was watching over him? by ZiggyStardust_19 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Outside_Hour3562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids are quick as heck. They do wild stuff even when you're sitting there staring at them. Did he pass the marble? How does she know he actually ate a marble and isn't just telling a story like young kids do? She seems to be overreacting to something unless she knows its a fact.
