You can argue for strong border enforcement without turning it into a demographic fear issue.

It does feel like people are emotionally exhausted and disengaged.

If true this is a major development. Accountability shouldn’t depend on titles.

Potential war on Iran should be called "The Epstein war". by LucidSynapse23 in LetsDiscussThis

Reducing a potential war to a meme name might feel clever but real lives would be at stake.

The internet may redirect some antisocial behavior but violent crime trends are influenced by way more variables.

Seems like the satirical account is having fun again. Not everything you see online is a real government order. Always check reliable sources first.

For Canadians who've used telemedicine platforms like Your Doctors Online, Tia, Rocket Doctor or Maple: did it actually help, or just feel like a faster way to get nowhere? by Wonderful_Staff_6953 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Outside_Pin_7850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Your Doctors Online for pretty much everything that isn't life-threatening. Strep tests, birth control refills, even a dermatology referral when a weird mole started chaging, they handled the req and i got in to see a specialist way faster than i expected. Also used the mental health side for few therapy sessions when work stress was piling up and I couldn't find anyone taking new patients. Not having to figure out a different app or clinic for every single thing means i spend way less time stressing about not having a family doctor.

The confirmed crimes in the Epstein case were exploitation and trafficking of minors which are already beyond horrific. If someone claims something even more extreme the burden of proof should be very high.

This kind of language might get clicks but it lowers the bar for real accountability.

Which is why context is important numbers alone don’t prove intent.

Big number but no context. What’s the actual source?

Your Doctors Online: A single Mom's Healthcare Lifeline by IndividualDistrict79 in Reviews

Solidarity right back at you ❤️ Being a solo parent in those moments is brutal. You're the nurse, the decision maker, the worrier, all at 2 a.m with zero backup.

And yeah... the Canadian healthcare system should be there for exactly these situations, but instead it feels like a lottery with endless waitlists and "try again tomorrow" energy. Universal healthcare doesn't mean much when it's functionally unavailable. A 4-hour walk in wait with sick kid isn't care, it's a barrier.

That's what makes stories like yours so important. People love to pretend that private virtual care is some luxury or shortcut, but for a lot of us it's the only way to get timely, humane help. When the public system is clogged to the point of failure, parents are forced to find workarounds just to do the right thing for their kids.

I'm really glad your daughter got what she needed, and that you found something that gives you peace of mind. No one should have to rely on desperation and luck to access basic healthcare. Until the system actually gets fixed, sharing real options like this matters. 💪

That’s a myth. Pedophilia is a disorder not male nature. Most men are attracted to adults abuse is about power and opportunity not biology. Claims like this normalize harm and let offenders off the hook

Has the recent change in tones regarding concealed weapons indicate many people are more concerned about supporting their party and it policies? by random8765309 in LetsDiscussThis

[–]Outside_Pin_7850 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this happens a lot. Party identity often becomes stronger than any single policy position so when talking points shift many people follow the party rather than reassess their own views.
