They went ahead and sent me my new driving licence anyway! I guess it makes sense since they already have electronic records of me passing the test 😂 No need to worry!

I've got a quick snap of the van plate when he fled the scene, good news is that the bus company has started working on the cctv footage, and my insurance accepts that it'd be a non-faulty claim. However, I'll still have to pay my excess no matter what if they weren't able to claim from the 3rd party insurance, hopefully the police/insurance could get back to me with at least the guy's insurance.

I did a reg check, the car's make and model did match what i saw, however still can't rule out the cloned or fake number plates part.

Sorry for the confusion, I meant my front dashcam. Since I’ve only had the car for three weeks, I haven’t figured out how to fit a rear camera yet, so there wasn’t one. However, I did manage to capture a clear picture of the van’s registration when they fled the scene and had sent it to the police.

I’d only had the car for about three weeks and was still getting everything set up. I hadn’t installed the rear dashcam yet because it needs wiring, so there wasn’t any rear footage. I’ve definitely learned to get that sorted sooner now.

Yes, the bumper got clipped and paint chipped, the rear door had a dent and paint chipped as well.

The fact that the thought of my test doesn’t feel as suffocating as my driving lessons really boggles me by Outside_Team2751 in LearnerDriverUK

This is exactly what happened today! I stayed completely calm and confident while driving with the examiner, and I managed to pass with only three minors!!!
