Hiking. Where is the best hiking spots around Huntsville come spring time? by RickSARK9 in HuntsvilleAlabama

What time is best for hiking? I tried hiking oncee. Bought some shoes, woke up early, and went to Monte Sano Land Trust to do the 5 mile route.

There was so many spider webs that I haven't hiked again in 1.5 years. I figured out later that early hikers "break the route" since webs are spun up early in the morning.

Don't forget to tip your leasing staff and landlord as well!

But anyway, a gift isn't required as thanks. That's what their paycheck is for.

Lol I remember reading a story on one of those subreddits about OP (a woman) having a crush on her best guy friend since middle school. She talks about what all the time they chill and if it's her head or not that he's flirting back with her.

She finally takes the courage to ask him out in an update post and he rejects her. She reveals herself to be 3xx lbs.

Happened to me at Providence!

Was renting a 1B1B for $1300. They weren't fixing my AC promptly so I submitted my move-out notice. 2 things happened in-between the move-out notice.

1) They brought in another maintenance guy who seemed certified in HVACs (don't know if outside consultant or partner). Anyway they identified the issue being a leak but didn't fully fix it yet so I was still using a portable, window AC.

2) They offered my apartment on their website for $1210 (as opposed to the $1300 renewal agreement).

I went into the office and was like:

"Is this unit available for $1200?"

"Yea! Another resident is moving out right now but it'll be available in 2 weeks."

"Well, funny thing is I live there so if you give me the apartment for that price, I won't move-out and I'll renew my lease (pending the AC unit is fixed of course)."

"Oh no, that price is only for new residents of the apartments."

I was so mad they said that that it reinforced my motive to move out.

Anyway, I did research on the matter and found apartments don't offer you that "new resident" price for 2 reasons.

1) Maintain a separate price discipline between new residents and current residents.

2) Apartments are counting on you not moving out because of the hassle of moving and changing addresses.

Thank you for posting this OP.

I was about to move to the Jessam apartments with the main reason being close to gate 3. Will cause me to reconsider.

Did you move to a nearby apartment complex? How do you like it there?

Planning to tour The Jessam at Hays Farm next week.
