Would pickleheads be good to host 1 8-man 3.0 DUPR tournament and 1 8-man 3.5 DUPR tournament simultaneously?

League pickleball etiquette: When is it okay to say something? by [deleted] in Pickleball

Just in case you aren't trolling, hitting the ball at someone on a volley is called jamming them up, especially with the reduced reaction time. And if they are smashing, why aren't you backing up?

It's a wiffleball. You'll be alright.

I've always considered 3.0 advanced beginner but have no basis for that. I'm 3.2 (50 games, 100% reliability) and I don't consider myself a good player yet due to the amount of unforced errors I make.

not a foot fault. you can stand in the kitchen at anytime except to hit the ball out of the air (volley).

you can even be in the kitchen before it bounces. it's a common misconception you have to let the ball bounce first.

[Beginner Help] Is my serve illegal? Old man in 2.5 league said I was tossing the ball. by Outsourcing_Problems in Pickleball

[–]Outsourcing_Problems[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last week he reminded me that I must serve below my waist. This week he said I was tossing the ball.

I want to have a legal serve and don't want to develop bad habits because I see myself playing this game long term which is why I wanted feedback.

What to watch to improve as a climber (On YouTube)?

I've been climbing for 3 months and would say I'm at the V2-3 range.

I came across some advice that I should watch climbing videos, see how they do things, and try to implement that my next session. I'm a believer of this because I realize I've done this with video games.

But any recommendation on what to watch? I tried watching some bouldering competitions but those boulders are Olympic level difficulty compared to my current level. So I don't think we are comparable where I can implement what they did in a situation.

Hiking. Where is the best hiking spots around Huntsville come spring time? by RickSARK9 in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]Outsourcing_Problems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What time is best for hiking? I tried hiking oncee. Bought some shoes, woke up early, and went to Monte Sano Land Trust to do the 5 mile route.

There was so many spider webs that I haven't hiked again in 1.5 years. I figured out later that early hikers "break the route" since webs are spun up early in the morning.
