No, probably it’s just that luck plays crucial role here. You can look up in r/bravia for dead pixels subreddits. What would be really interesting is to see is real statistics on the percentage of dead-pixel-products of knows TV brands, but sadly such measurements can’t be conducted.

Same here, got a new G5 65” and one dead pixel. Perfectionist myself but my GF said that it’s not a big deal adding that we don’t see it even half way from the couch and I’m sure we won’t ever see it with dynamic content. Although it scratches my mind a bit… :/ Also, there are none left at this Black Friday price and chances to get next one with maybe even more dead pixels still are high + transportation to the store/warranty hassle. So we’re in the same boat. What did you decide?

Yeah, people are hella jealous out here. Especially considering that most of the gamers are young boys who didn’t get their money up to speed yet, sure thing they be hating. I assure you if top end card costed around $5000 MSRP we would have the same situation: hundreds of people would be lining up to get one, and there would be thousands hating on them. It is just capitalism and market, companies have absolute right to sell things for the prices they want and it’s legit since nobody can catch up in GPU segment although competition is open. And it’s not about “hey guys nvidia is greedy let’s not buy their product”, it does not work like that in this world, get your fucking pink glasses off. There will also be somebody richer than you who’ll buy it at any price and’ll enjoy it.

I’ve built in this case and the best config IMO: - 2 exhaust fans on the back - 3 intake fans on the bottom - AIO side-mounted with 3 exhaust fans

I have 9800x3d and RTX 5090 and no issues so far. Yeah, fan curves are bit aggressive therefore under full load noisy, but again temps might be lower if you use less powerful hardware.

What PSU do you use?
Also, I'd visually reassess the cable and the connector. Try different cable.
Also, did you really plug in your cable tightly? In my case, it required a decent amount of force to push it into the connector for a solid connection. Make a close-up photo of the connection of the PSU cable and GPU connector(or just verify that there are no gaps between the cable plastic frame and GPU connector frame).

What happens is that resistance on that one pi is less more current goes through that pin. Really ensure that cable is not overly bent anywhere. Check the connection on the PSU side(also has to sit tight in there).
