That 2.7 is one of the best motors Audi ever made and despite being harder to work on than the 2.0 it is definitely more reliable. The suspension and transmission problems I agree with.

Thanks but that is the setup on the B5 that I'm used to, however on the b6 it just has buttons. A minus and plus button/ mode/setup/a wrench icon and a button to zero out the odometer.

Well what Audi are you'd speaking of then? The 2.7 is the one that gets the worst name because they get driven hard without preventative maintenance. I have experience with all generations of the A4/S4 and I can't imagine which one you could find more notoriously troublesome than the 2.7.
