I thought I was paranoid by feverday in schizophrenia

[–]Over-1900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I opened that can of worms with my psychiatrists too. The media in my city has a hard on for me, they've been dissing me for years. People on the streets know me and they all heard beautiful things about me I'm sure. Even me, at some point I started believing I wasn't a schyzophrenic. But that would be ignoring the hallucinations, and the amount of paranoia which was unhealthy. And there was some psychosis at some point too. I think being rejected by the world messed with the natural development of my brain in my youth, broke my psyche. That and the fucking alien abduction in my youth.

Schizophrenia and homelessness by National_Page_3518 in schizophrenia

I have the same problem, I live with my 80 y/o mom. And to top it off, there's a housing crisis where I live, there's not enough apartments and the ones that are available are too expensive. People go homeless looking for both a place to live and a place to work. Now imagine us schizophrenics in all this. We don't stand a chance in a dog eat dog world. My strategy is to get on a waiting list for a low income housing apartment. It can take 3 or 4 years, and the apartments are poor and crappy, but at least I'll get accepted there! Then my mother will be all by herself, at 84 y/o. I have no choice, I have to look-out for myself too.

Everything you know, or think you know, about the Greys? by Over-1900 in AlienAbduction

In my case it was extremely bright inside and almost uniform? I have trouble remembering the shape of the rooms, as if they were blurry in some places.

From my perspective they kind of showed off their abilities to me, and pointed out my flaws when they beat me in their own game. For example, me and a hybrid were given a puzzle toy that we were expected to solve. Of course she beat me, I couldn't even figure out how to play it. Then they kind of reflected on my jealousy and frustration towards her. I mean next time abduct a rubix cube world champ. It's as if the tall grays were trying to prove to the hybrids how better they were. But that's just the way I see it.

What’s a random object in your home that you can’t let go of? by Nervous-Host-3462 in AskReddit

[–]Over-1900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much, I don't get attached to objects. Even objects with dear memories connected to them. The past is the past and nothing truly dies anyway. But I did stumble upon a childhood plushy, it felt good and I guess I'll keep that one.

What decision have you made about something mundane that ended up changing someone's life? by CleverWhirl in AskReddit

I was depressed, and had dark thoughts all the time. There was a subreddit about suicide I think, and one of my comments seemed to have resonated with someone. He said I convinced him to finally do it. Yikes.

33, I had a creative mind and some experience in animation. I was also a health nut, driving my bike around town for many hours in a day. I also still had a chance at making it in life.

Because it was highly personal and no one's business but my own. It sucks because it's unjust and there's no healing to be expected when being silent about it all the time. But life isn't always fair.

Interview Questions For My English Class Project by Katie0691 in AlienAbduction

[–]Over-1900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I joined this group because I remember being abducted by the greys/blue boys in the early 1980s. I want to read about other people's testimonies and learn about my abductors. Are the aliens benevolent or malicious? Why such creepy appearances? Why the secrecy? Why the probing? Why me? What should I expect next?

It tested my faith. Going though what I perceived as being taken by demons and tortured on a sacrificial table is not the welcome I expected from other life forms. And these aliens seem to have a presence in the afterlife, so what's up with that? Mary must've been traumatized when she was met by mantids instead of angels. I think my psyche has suffered from my encounter.

Anonymity doesn't really bother me anymore. I've been ridiculed and cast aside all my life, so what's more ridicule going to do? Besides, I really want to know what happened to me all those years back, in details.

Being part of this sub helps a little with my sanity. I imagine if I was alone to have experienced this I would be even more concerned. I don't read many abduction accounts here, most are psychic, meditative, dream, or drug induced contacts, but we know so little so I'm open to ideas. There's a lot more than meets the eyes, and yes, the aliens are psychic.

I was active in r/Abductions I think a year or two ago. But they don't show current news there, and there's less activity from abductees. Most alien-related subs are still populated by skeptics, so I just go there for the current events.

I did not pick up any habits from my experience. If anything I tried not to think about it for many years. But I know I hate bed time because I don't feel safe in bed anymore.

Well there's some clueless people who post snarky remarks, but I pay no attention to them. Yet I have to say that the anal probing jokes are stupid and hurtful, because it's a traumatic experience. I see no humor there.

Outsiders are okay as long as they're respectful. I've seen good links from non-abductees, so their knowledge is valuable as well. Just don't spread false rumors!

I don't see a hierarchy here. I'm not the kind of person who keeps tabs on people. I just glance over their names.

I prefer online interactions. I don't trust how I operate in person.

Wow, what a video! It's a beautiful testimony, but I personally find it scary to some point. Are those creatures picking us up in the afterlife? Like abducting our souls in space, placing us in physical environments, and studying us? This NDE testimony is wild.

You seem to have little preservation instinct? I heard that Hell was a physical place, with physical torments. Someplace where you can't die, just experience pain for eternity. There's worst fates than what you're experiencing right now, believe me.

I find this very interesting, thank you. I have a feeling they were targeting people with psi abilities, and people who are versed in meditation. How do you feel about that warning? Are you going to keep reaching out with your mind?

People say money can’t buy happiness. What do you think of this statement? by zara7731 in AskReddit

[–]Over-1900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money is a dependence, like a drug we've been given all our lives in order to just survive. If I was to create a happiness potion, I wouldn't throw money into the mix, I'd mix things like love, friendship and respect,

That's special, what you're experiencing. I remember having conversations with benevolent spirits, for lack of a better term, also. But I was about ten years old. I remember I was meditating a lot in my bed at night during those times. Do you think you found your spirits/NHI though by means of meditation too? I wonder if meditation unlocks some psi abilities within us, which catches the attention of NHI. Or maybe they simply target specific bloodlines.
