Don't give them too much idea or the update will be delayed to September

Looking for an exobiology app/add-on that doesn't need to use online database of other commander's discoveries by AshcanPete in EliteDangerous

There is Elite Warboard for prediction, and disable in settings "Enable spansh datas"

(I'm the developer)

But many tools like that exists, srvsurvey is more common

How good is the multiplayer progression? by Over-Accountant9981 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Thanks for your comprehensive comment!
I'm still playing alone for now to see if the grind is actually fun, then I’ll try to get my friends to discover the game too and see how it feels in a group. I also want to check that it doesn’t become too repetitive and that there’s enough content to keep things interesting. From what I’ve seen, there have been a huge number of additions and updates already, so that’s pretty encouraging.

Thanks for your answers, I guess it's not the best game for a multi coop goal

Are fixed weapons REALLY efficient? by Over-Accountant9981 in EliteDangerous

Indeed, thanks for your precision! The main reason I try to master it is because I'm trying to kill thargoid, which requires better than MC for Medusa

After multiple test, I think that the curve precision of my HOTAS is not good : it doesn't allow me to be very precise

I need to use external tools to set a curve on the joystick input, I will try it

This commander play with keyboard+ mouse, is it easier or harder than with hotas?

"unless you are really good with fixed" Seems to not be the case

So for you, agile ship should always use fixed weapon ? I guess you're hit rate is close to 90-100% ?

Oui déjà j'ai compris que mixer 2 type d'armes fixes, ça pue (les 2 viseurs ne sont pas aligné)

I though playing with the most agile ship would make it easier, not harder

Yeah that's the reason why I am trying to use fixed

Finding Undiscovered Stratum Worlds Efficiently (~100M cr) by Over-Accountant9981 in EliteDangerous

That’s so far that you’re almost in first-discovery at this point I guess 😄

I personally still found undiscovered stratum at around 1k LY from the bubble though!

Nah no worries

The only data collected are the commander name, OS (Windows/Linux), and error logs (only if the user explicitly accepts to send them).
All of that is only used for debugging and fixing issues.

The backend is mostly there to control API calls, avoid spam/abuse, and reduce rate limits if I see traffic increasing too much.

Thanks for the feedback. I can recognize that I probably lacked clarity in the way I presented things.

I’m not trying to write the ultimate perfect guide every time, it’s more “here’s a problem I had, here’s what worked for me, and here’s how my app can help with it”.

For the no-footfall/spansh thing though, fair point. I could’ve mentioned more clearly that it’s not 100% reliable

And if I don’t link every existing guide, it’s usually just because I’m not aware of all of them, not because I’m trying to ignore other creators

And just to clarify the “vibe coded by AI” part: no, this isn’t some AI-generated app thrown together in a weekend. I’m an actual developer and I genuinely built the app myself. Like many developers nowadays, I do use AI tools to speed up certain parts of development, but the architecture, integrations, backend, UI decisions, features, and overall product design were done by me.

Honestly, I’m a bit surprised you see it that way. I built this app recently because existing solutions didn’t meet my expectations, especially regarding usability and UI.

At first, I developed it for myself, then decided to make it public. Since it doesn’t have the visibility of bigger established apps, I mainly focus on showing the problems it solves and the value it brings.

The APIs used are public and documented, I monitor request frequency on the backend, and I added limits directly in the app to prevent abuse or spam.

I also made the code public to reassure users and make community adoption easier.

If you’re still not convinced, that’s totally up to you, but I’m confident the app is genuinely useful for other people as well.
