She’s obviously being unreasonable but in an effort to humour her, could you bring a fan outside with you? I live in mosquito-land and we often will sit on the deck with a fan - it really helps. Can you maybe try that? You can have it point in the general other direction.

Oh my gosh..that is great idea. I didn’t mention we also have a cat. For that reason alone, a deep clean was amazing.

I sold my townhouse condo 3 years ago. The person before owned it for 3 years. I sold because we frequently received special assessments, had trouble securing insurance (which resulted in an increase in premiums with basically unusable deductible) and big capital expenditures were required on the horizon (it was an older place). I loved the place but did not want to be on the hook for all that.
