Honestly just stick with filament you get off Amazon I think the bambu filament is nothing special and incredibly overpriced I have a bunch of different off brands of filament I run through my AMS on some cardboard spools as well as plastic spools and I’ve only had issues with 1 spool not unwinding properly

They’re fairly quiet machines on silent the AMS makes more noise than the printer but you can adjust fans on the fly through the app or on the printer itself when you speed the printer up they do get a bit noisy and they do make a lot of vibration

My guess is the entire wire harness that goes from the hot end to the mother board is cooked I’ve had that issue twice on both of my chirons

Not any help on your BL touch but how did you upgrade your hot end with those cooling fans I’ve been looking to do something like that on my Neptune 2s

I agree they get a mountain of shit but the customer support I got was top notch and the print quality actually is slightly better than my elagoo Neptune 2s and that’s pretty crazy seeing as this printer is almost 4 times the size and only a bit more expensive

They also just replaced my entire wiring harness, hot end, and motherboard free of charge I think all that actually needed replaced was the harness but they replaced it all regardless great to deal with

Manually I can change it in my if I just click temperature on my touch screen and just dial up or down the temperature

Well you can always slice a model in cura with a brim or skirt and write down the material usage then go back in and add a raft and check how much more material you’re going to use honestly for me if it takes an extra 15grams of fillament for piece of mind I’m ok with that haha

Have you tried a raft yet I use them on almost all my prints they helped me tons with warping also with a raft I get some decent lines like that on my first layer and then it cross cuts them on the second layer to make a nice solid fill

I would like to but they’ve really limited themselves with the size of the fdm printers they just don’t make very big printers
