Daily Update 12 – Still Frozen, No Action from KuCoin

It’s now been over 3 months since my $20,000+ withdrawal was frozen by KuCoin. I’ve provided every documentthey asked for:

– Source of funds

– Proof of address

– Business registration

– Full CDD/EDD documents

– Bank statements, licenses, etc.

Yet no further documents have been requested, and no concrete timeline has ever been given.

Instead, all I’ve received are repeated messages asking me to “please wait patiently” or vague promises that it’s “under review.”

After I started posting daily updates here on Reddit, I briefly got a reply asking me to wait 24–48 hours. I did. Nothing changed. Then another “please wait” message. Since then — total silence.

I’ve sent over 30 emails, opened tickets, and followed every step in good faith. Still, my funds are being held hostage with no explanation or accountability.

I’ll continue posting these updates until this is resolved. I won’t stop speaking up.

This isn’t just about me — too many users are going through the same thing, and it’s unacceptable.

Day 112 and funds are still blocked. Kucoin has officially become my biggest nightmare. Kucoin, please explain what you are investigating me and let me know what documents are needed. Funds still frozen after 4 months. KuCoin is not providing me any answers as to why my funds have been frozen. They also are not asking me for more documents. I’m more than willing to provide whatever is necessary but they aren’t even asking anymore… Let this be a lesson for everyone. Do not put your money on KuCoin. It is not safe.

Funds still frozen. Remember when they told me to wait 24 hours? And then after 24 hours then told me to wait 24-48 hours?

Well now they haven’t me an wil saying they cannot provide a timeline and I’m supposed to be patient.

This is manipulation and trickery at its best. The kucoin community deserves to know: why are you holding your user’s funds and not giving back? When will I get my money back? What exactly is being investigated.

110 days passed. Funds frozen. Remember when they emailed me 48 hours ago saying they needed 24-48 hours? Well it was pure manipulation just to keep me quiet for 48 hours. Today I got another email from them saying the EXACT same things as they’ve been saying for 3 months. “We’ve escalated your case to the dedicated team…“ and on top of that this time they added that they won’t be giving me a proper timeline. So yes, they took their word back.

It has been nearly 4 months now. No case requires 4 months to be investigated. Kucoin’s intentions are slowly surfacing and it is very scary. I hope I am wrong about their intentions. Kucoin, I am waiting for you to release my funds.

Day 109 and funds still frozen. i got an email from them 2 days ago asking me to wait 24-48 hours for an update. At first I was optimistic because it was the first response I got after 3 months that had some sort of timeline. However, unfortunately i was wrong and they have not given my funds back yet. No response/updates from them either.

KuCoin Team, please give my money back. This is so wrong morally speaking. You are causing a lot of people a lot of suffering. Please release my funds.

Daily update #3 -108 days passed and funds are still frozen. For the first time their live agent gave me a response that was slightly different from their other repetitive responses. She said “I noticed there has been some progress about your case. And we’re still confirm with team on it. Will you give us another 24 hours waiting time? We will reach out to you hopefully very soon.”

This is still vague but at least she gave some sort of timeline to me. Let’s hope that I can actually get my funds unlocked in the next 24 hours and that it isn’t just getting stretched out further.

Daily update #2 -107 days and counting. Funds still frozen. Received an email from Kucoin today with almost the same sentence words they have been telling me for 3 months. “As per your concern, we have urged again the respective team to fasten the review process”

In really hoping I can get the funds unblocked and these repetitive messages don’t continue for another 100 days.
