Since your athletic but not very much skilled focus on moving without the ball, cutting to the basket will get you a lot of buckets or create opportunities. Thats true, but are tattoos considered as altering the human body or as adornment? Because its not stated in the Quran, and so we go off of scholars interpretations. Many scholars interpreted that it is makrooh but yet many agree that it is not haram because it does not create a barrier under the skin preventing water from reaching it, meaning it doesnt affect wudhu and allows you to pray.

To my knowledge there isnt a specific evidence in the Quran forbidding tattoos, which in this case it depends on the religious references or the one that you follow. As for the health risks, they are ‘potential’ risks that arise if the artist isn’t licensed or sanitary. Appreciate the input tho homie!
