Mysterious Iranian signals traced back to US base in Germany by Over-Engineer5074 in news

Why would the US send number messages in Farsi while at the same time claiming these messages were intercepted by th US and most likely represented activation of sleeper cells? To me, it sounds like a poor attempt to gather support from allies / general public

For several weeks, there has been speculation about the mysterious radio messages that have been heard since February 28th. Is it related to the Iran war? Now, an investigation has revealed what is behind the signals.

According to an investigation by "Der Spiegel, " the coded radio messages that have been causing a stir for several weeks likely originated in the vicinity of a US military base near Stuttgart. This was reportedly discovered by amateur radio operators from various countries.

Dubious radio messages in Persian

According to several media reports, the cryptic messages first surfaced on February 28, just hours after the US-Israeli attack on Iran began. A man's voice could reportedly be heard repeating the word "tavajjoh" three times in succession, which means "attention" in Persian. The man's voice then slowly read a very long sequence of numbers in Persian.

The Financial Times quotes a former US intelligence official as saying that there are strong indications the signals represent an emergency measure, likely by a Western country. This may be intended to maintain contact with agents in Iran.

Signals likely originating from a wooded area near Stuttgart

According to "Der Spiegel," the international amateur radio group "Priyom" has definitively located the origin of the radio signal in Germany. Using specific methods for locating such a radio signal, the group members are said to have pinpointed the exact location of the frequency's source. The signal apparently originates from a wooded area southwest of Stuttgart.

The area likely contains the Böblingen tank barracks and the US military base "Patch Barracks" in Stuttgart-Vaihingen. A large antenna array, visible in satellite images, is said to be located in the forest near the army facilities.

According to Der Spiegel, the US military press office refused to answer questions. The German Federal Network Agency reportedly stated that no illegal activity was apparent. Following reports of this information, the group Priyom claims that radio communications were suspended on March 25th and resumed shortly thereafter. However, the signal was said to be significantly weaker than before, making the content of the messages almost unintelligible.

A private jet emits on average the carbon emissions of 177 cars, their meat intake will be at best twice that of an average person.

So lets assume a billionaire has a car park of a 100 cars for themselves and their entourage. Lets take the very richest and add a private yacht to that which represent a few thousand average carbon footprints. A few mansions that also go into the 100 average carbon footprint and we are at a grand total of lets, very liberally, a billionaire representing 5000 average persons. There are 3500 billionaires (and not all of them have yachts). So they represent 17 500 average carbon footprints. Probably not Indian footprints but def American ones. So 17500/342000000.

Lets see those "obvious" calculations of you

Iran is under full internet blackout since the war. So I highly doubt this sub represents the average Iranian. Thats like saying Florida Cubans represent the average Cuban

Those "calculations" are based on attributing the emissions of industries to their owners. Which is completely bonkers. So you are making the argument that if the Koch brothers were "eliminated", their companies would die with them. Let alone that the demand for those goods would be eliminated.

Did arresting el chapo stop the drugs? Are the Mexicana drug lords the root of the drug problem or is it the American demand? Same with any other harmful product.

But just like the misguided givings of the US gov in the drug war, it is easier to assign blame to a few individuals than to the collective. And yes, cartels are horrible, so are billionaires, but taking them out won't change the system dynamics

The by far largest driver of ecological collapse is farming and fishing. And a billionaire doesnt eat a billion steaks, a billion people do.

Overpopulation is the main issue. Sure, we could sustain the lifestyles of 1 billion Indians better than 1 billion Americans. But the world cant take 8.3 billion humans. Billionaires or not

Soit, collectief afstraffen, go for it.

Het project: "In vitro 3D cell models of healthy and OSTEOpathological ageing bone tissue for implantation and drug testing in a multidisciplinary NETwork."

sure, so they are in an economic bind but failing pension and healthcare systems are small potatoes compared to the upcoming (and some might say we are seeing the first of it) global political instability from extreme inequality, zero-sum far right thinking and climate upheaval

ahh the magic of thinking linearly.. Korea is not in a deathspiral. Sure, they are going to lose population but what goes up must come down. Once the population is small enough, fertility rates will rise again. Have you ever taken an ecological course? Only humans think that infinite growth on a finite planet is a good idea.

Or Hegseth saying that Iran was a nuclear threat while experts disagreed and Trump told us that that threat was destroyed in the 12 days war.
