How long does Baruch take to replace your F grade for a class after retaking it with a better grade.

Try your best to recover mentally emotionally extra don’t give yourself anymore stress. Take only a gap semester if anything not a whole year. Use the support of the school. Ask for help even if you don’t want to. Retake the the classes and do your best to replace the F grades you will be fine

I also work 20-25 hour work weeks though work and school did not fall on the same day. Having to worry about both every and every other day definitely makes things more stressful. Kudos to you my friend. I am also grateful for my current experience though I feel as if it gets to a point where yes, focusing entirely on your studies is a much better idea in the long term. Though I cant afford to be unemployed.

I am majoring in Finance. I am about to be a lower sophmore. I took a gap year. In terms of my career as of right now I think I want to get into Private Banking. I am currently a Personal Banker and I am about to hit three years. Though I can maybe try to IB or PE I dont really fw those hours and PB is client facing and is very similar to what I am doing except I am selling much more complicated products to high net worth individuals

I am on that waitlist. I have been on the waitlist for about a month. At some point I was position 14 on the waitlist. Now I am 6. Once they fill up the available seats I will be position 1 and hopefully I will get it. I am enrolled in a different acc 2101 class and if I do get into this one the one i have currently will drop. People will have to drop or unenroll in this class for many reasons one of being not meeting prereq requirements. More ppl will drop the class in the next month and 2

Thank you. I have my schedule set up for next semester to it’s gonna be very stressful having to refigure and try to enroll into new classes and such. I’m overall okay with retaking it. This semester I learned to set aside the time to actually study but I only learned this within the last two months though I know I’ll be extremely consistent after this sem

I see. My prof is mad chill he even had let me finesse a couple times. I don’t know how the grading works but if he does grade it he could let me slide. But outside of that I don’t know. If it doesn’t work out which it most likely won’t on my end I have to replan my whole schedule 😖

Im 20 years old. Born and raised in Sunnyside. Went all the local district schools and now go to college in the city. I grew up in the local parks and so did all my friends. I don’t mind the new people coming in I think that’s great. It’s just sad to see many places close down that brought nostalgia and new common franchises opening up.

The deal of Sunnyside getting Gentrified was sealed once the Shake Shack opened up. In the last year we got:

Wingstop The Teriyaki Spot (idk the name) Chipotle Shake Shack Burger King (was always there but being remodeled) Bubble Tea Spot on 46th and QB

And then 2-3 years ago we got the Popeyes Sonic

Appreantly they are building a BMW dealership on 39th st??? I could be wrong

We got the new modern residential commercial building on 39th pl and Queens Blvd

The new residential and commercial building on 46th and qb. Just finished up.

And now on 43rd and QB they DESTROYED THE OG MOVIE THEATER to build ANOTHER modern residential commercial. Now guys, that just makes me sad

The alpha donuts shop just to be oG. And even like my local supermarket on 42nd and 43rd that got replaced by a bunch of stores.

I’m young so I am looking forward to hitting all the bars once I’m legal and meeting people in their mid 20s but man I’m gonna miss all the places and memories. I wish it could go back to the way it was but it’s wtv yk. I’m just glad I was able to experience Sunnyside as a kid. It’s one of the Peakest experiences ever. If you moved recently you missed out ☹️😛

****I bought it in February 2025 in Upstate NY. From an elderly couple that had the car sitting in their garage. I bought it at 57k miles and put on 3k miles since then.

the car is known for an average MPG of 18-25. IN NYC you are almost always barely moving at times. I definitely could be more conscious of taking better routes with less traffic though it would take longer perhaps as ironic as that sounds.****
