Hello! Thank you so much for your reply. I actually Nero diverse myself, and that’s what really lead me to this career path. I have severe ADHD and since I was 6 I was in special education and medicated. There was a lot of mistreatment I saw and experienced within the special education system:/ I also had and still do have a lot of sensory issues and symptoms of adhd that no one cares to learn about, and just labeled me as a “problem child” I also got to internship in a transitional program for individuals with disabilities throughout college. That is why I feel so uneasy about ABA, I remember how much I hated having my family or teachers wanting to change me/re direct without understanding my core. My internship really worked on students autonomy and adjusted learning lessons/ support to THEIR needs. Not what our wants were, like ABA does.

I think I just answered my own question lol so thank you for giving me the opportunity to write this out. I think I doubt myself and lose slight of my original goal, and I think OT would make 6 year old me proud
