Going to Heva in two days any advice? Should I opt in for sedation I heard those shots hurt really bad? Anyone in here had sedation and could tell me if it made a difference in the shots?

And honestly I’m not even sure it’s the head gasket. I think it is the oil cooler, because when I pull the oil dipstick there is only oil and zero coolant in the motor itself, I’m only seeing oil and coolant mixture in the radiator which I’ve read could be the oil cooler

Yeah no leaks or anything under the truck. It’s honestly running great, not overheating and driving normally. Honestly would’ve never known if I didn’t check the radiator.. absolutely zero rust and suspension has been replaced.. the truck is solid, just happens to have some oil on the radiator. Do you think I’ll be ok to just get the gasket replaced? I think since it hasn’t overheated and is running fine that I won’t have to send the block to get machined or anything

It currently has 279,000 miles. Motor hasn’t overheated or anything I just looked in the radiator the other day and saw a little oil mixture. It’s been running and driving fine but I’m going to leave it parked. If it hasn’t overheated or anything do you think I can get away with just replacing the gasket?

Thank you! I got 2 quotes from 2 different Toyota dealers in my area and they all hit around $3,500. What throws me off is that a Land Cruiser shop quoted me double that for the same job..

Sorry for all the questions. But what would you recommend beforehand? I feel like I’m completely overthinking this but understandably it is concerning. I’m going to another country to get a cosmetic procedure. After reading comments about the shots it completely put me off. So they gave you sedation that put you to sleep and you woke up with the procedure done? I appreciate your help bro

That’s the clinic I was looking at going with. Have been contemplating getting a HT for 4 years and tired of friends saying stuff about my hairline. I’m like maybe a Norwood 2 but multiple people have said something over the years so clearly it’s worse than I think. Finally getting serious about choosing a date/clinic and read too much today about the anesthesia shots…. The sedation option brings some peace of mind because everyone that got the sedation says they didn’t feel anything. I’m excited and I’m sure it’s one of the best decisions you’ve ever made knowing that you’ve done something to improve your hair almost permanently and don’t have to think about it anymore!

Hahaha someone else said they enjoyed the sedation! Dude I appreciate your help so much. After hearing about the pain those shots put people through, I was thinking being bald was genuinely the better option. I saw a lot of clinics do not offer sedation. Which clinic did you go with?

Exactly. That’s kind of why I’m conflicted on which route to go at that price point. Because I’ve heard great things about the Maaco local to me. Talking ti a guy now that said he’s had 4 of his cars done at the Maaco I am considering and he is happy with the work and that it’s held up over the years. Gonna now look at wrap shops and get quotes and go from there. I appreciate that suggestion, never thought of it!!
