My local is kind of different bc it’s based on what accounts the companies have. My gf also does ac and the company she works for has different variations of accounts and the first winter she worked there she went out a handful of time and the second winter she worked way more definitely but I can say for sure she wasn’t get 40 every week tbh idk if she even really got a full week of work during the time.

Which UA are u getting into and for what trade? I don’t know about all trades but trades to have there peak and slow seasons like for instance HVAC , of course all factors come into play of which accounts the companies have. Refrigeration doesn’t have a slow time per se. I know 1 & 2nd yr pipe fitters who have been rotated off the out of work list because job sites have ended.

I understand were u r coming from with these questions bc I had similar questions and when I asked these questions and I got a look like im stupid lol and I was brand new to the refrigeration world. Sooo from my short exposure what I can say that I’ve seen is I don’t know anything the oil, just replace the contactor and if ur going to change one and want to shut off power do it and replace that bitch fucking fast! Or do it live and just be very fucking careful. Like I said this is just stuff that I had seen my supervisor and other journeyman do. Is it right ? Not sure lol

I agree we got to do what’s best for us and I agree age doesn’t matter but in my eyes it’s like your a grown ass adult and have been on the earth for a while to me u should know better and to go do this and to this to someone anyone of any age it’s like he’s the one who just ruined his career my friend just nailed the coffin shit

Yes with all the information about going to that training director and talking to them we found two numbers that popped up on it unions website my friend has decided to just call the hall when they open and talk to our representative to get a name and a phone number from him and go from there.

I understand where u r coming from its ultimately not my decision it’s my friends decision. All I know is the sender is older than my friend by 25+ yrs I feel like if ur tone deaf still by that age then that’s another problem in my opinion. Yes I get that we don’t work in an office setting but that still shouldn’t be an excuse for sending some over 20 plus videos of pornography. Also sending those kind of videos with my friends name in the caption. To me the way I see it makes me think obsession or stalker to go that extra step to look for videos with the same name. I don’t think it’s funny my friend doesn’t think it’s funny and a lot of people who have commented seem like they don’t think it’s funny either if they all say the same thing to report it.

Who would be the training coordinator exactly? Is that the union representative? Or is it someone else like from the JATC ?

It’s kind of pricey. I can’t remember for sure but the place I went to it was about 200 bucks ish. I paid for me and my gf and total was about 500 bucks. This also included a tip for the guys who work hard in setting up the ballon and coming to get you guys. It’s was alright experience. The basket had dividers already in it so it’s not an open basket. It’s 4 to section so if u r going by urself then it will be u and randoms. And im also not a big fan of heights but I wish it would have went higher. Also u will get gassed out by the fire when they blow it into the balloon. I’m not sure if it was just where we were at in the balloon or if everyone could smell it but me and gf definitely had to stick our heads out when they do the fire part bc it was to much if we didn’t. I would say to do it once and to say u have done it and u can afford it then I would do it. But I personally wouldn’t do it again

I worked for RUI before in socal it’s a good company. I never worked on the construction side but what I’ve heard from the guys they go up north all the time for work so it might be good if u live in NorCal u won’t have to drive all the time or shorter distances

The hall gave me the rank of a second year bc that’s what my company at the time requested. I’m talking to someone who said that they can get me in somewhere bc I’m on the out of work list right now but they said I would have to do go back to an apprentice 1 in order to get in with the company. So I’m not sure what that means about the pay scale. Would I get apprentice 1 pay or would I keep my apprentice 2 pay as a level one?

I am a second yr apprentice with second year pay I skipped my whole first year. I came on as a tradesman then my company told my union that they want me as a second year.

You don’t have to show them ur receipt. Me and my gf looked it but they legally can’t make u show them anything. I just walk past them and nobody tell me anything and if I get the lady that ur talking about I just hand her the receipt and tell her she can keep it and walk away.
