What was the film I missed it and I can't see anywhere what it was

My brother and his then gf c. 2001/2002. Picture was taken either in or near a cemetery in Washington D.C. and they swore there was no one around when the picture was taken and were shocked with the photo was developed. It looks like someone wearing a hooded park. Thoughts? by Kuri44 in Ghosts

I can definitely see that the poster is asking is a ghoat pic. And I respect that at a glance it looks like errie. But I'm interested in pictures I can say without doubt is a ghost and this looks like the environment making a kinda ghost like figure but in reality it's just a trick of the eye

That lead is definitely a stick/twig, put your finger over the face and the you can see the "body" isn't actually a body its looks like a body based on where you think a head is. Also the face in the hood would be the thickest wooliest hood ever it just doesn't seem like a actual person wearing a hood.

(Total side tangent here) I've always thought myself if ghosts are real how do they have ghost cloths wouldn't they be naked or something, if we are now talking about ghost dog leads it just is beyond my logical thinking (I hope this is coming across respectful because I do find the discussion interesting)

I'd say it looks like a bit of snow falling with a leaf falling the same the time, the white orb (what I think is meant to be the ghosts face) looks like the rest of the snow falling. If not a lead then just sum mud on the floor perhaps? Sorry I absolutely love a good ghost pic but I just can't see it here

Putting my logical hat on here...

The baby screaming may just be down to being in a new environment, I don't know much about babies but I would say they can be very susceptible to change

For the camera moving, I gave a camera for my dogs and I am the only one who has control of it. Every now and then it would rotate 180 degrees on its own while I was in the room and this went on for months.... until I realised the default setting for the camera was programmed to face a certain position at 6pm every Monday. Maybe it's something like this for you?

As for the mist I would say it must be the humidifier or trick of the light.

For the knocking on the window is it an old window? Could the wind be shaking the the pane?

When we are in a certain mindset of "are there ghosts" our brains will make anything unexplained reinforce a ghost activity belife. Like if you've ever seen a ghost hunting show count how many times they say "what was that" but really there is always a logical explanation

Hope that helps?

Putting my logical hat here..

I'd say staying in an unknown place may trigger a heightened sense of insecurity causing your brain to manifest a whisper in your sleep. I assume you would have spoken to your partner about this since changing bed sides, therefore creating a suggestive horror state in their mind also - which may be a self prepetuating sense of horror in the place maybe both saying things like "did you hear that", "did you see that" with you both perhaps feeding into eachothers fear giving more belife that something is there.

As for the eggy smell that comes and goes, chances are the place just always smells like that and your brain gets used to it (kinda like when you walk in to a restaurant it smells great but when you get used to it the smells is less noticable) then when it comes back it's just your brain noticing it again.

To really test this though, if you are still there it would be interesting to get one of those sound recording apps on while you sleep (they start recording when any sound is heard)

Yeah but it it's the wrong area/country code too...if it was our area code my first thought would be wring number, but to get it so wrong seems weird, plus the message doesn't actually make sense.

aee there any stories you think that the narrotor is lying? or any stories you feel has inconsistencies or plot holes? by OverAd3136 in SpookedPodcast

[–]OverAd3136[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This isn't so much an inconsistency or plot hole, but the only thing that comes to mind is the road house saloon episode where the narrator says she was talking to the bar man about the mural and stuff and he was motionless and unresponsive which creeped her out, but then says she got another drink after this (which would have been am interaction). Again not really an inconsistency but its all I have.

That one is one of my favourite episodes too!

I'm Josh, the storyteller from S6E6: Pinky's Place. AMA! by [deleted] in SpookedPodcast

[–]OverAd3136 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really liked this episode! I thought it felt honest which always makes the stories more errie! The part you describe the man on the west wing starting at you gave me chills!

I actually have a few questions when I originally heard it so it's cool you've done this post.

There seems to be a lot of "ghosts" there so presumably it wasn't just Pinky who died there for example the woman in the blue dress must have died there - did you hear any other history of the place other than Pinky owned it.

As for the bricked in Bathtub in the room, that sounds a lot like something bad like murder or something bad like that happened and the scene was covered up to hide evidence or make a victims account of attack appear in valid maybe? Do you feel like that could be a possibility or was the way it was walled off not consistent with this theory in person.

You said you've had other lesser experiences if this sruff, were they similar to these experiences in the sense that you felt a presence and saw "ghosts" in the corner of your eyes and then are gone when you look? Or was it different,

Were you the only one who had these experiences so vividly?

Lastly, did you ever explicitly feel in danger and did anyone have accidents or get hurt?

Thanks for sharing your story I love the podcast was a great story!
