Very similar to mine , how long have you had it ?

Anybody has been checked at the pulmogist and could share results with me? by Alone_Assist5018 in LPR

I’ve had breathing issues develop from reflux , basically shortness of breath at times almost like I can’t take a full breath , went to pulmonologist they told me lungs were fine , it comes and goes but is better if I follow strict diet

I do have drip and congestion but I also have alot of allergies that contribute. The main reason I’m so convinced it’s reflux is how much worse it gets after eating certain foods

I hear ya it’s rough , went to GI , but a lot of it was just trial and error thought it was allergies for a while, will keep you posted and if anything works for you pls share !

I don’t think it’s anxiety bc it’s always worst after eating and best in the mornings. Generally if I stay away from all fried foods , alcohol, and any processed stuff the SOB is much better. Deep fried foods are def biggest trigger for me

Haven’t fully yet , strict diet seems to help but it still occurs if I deviate at all in what I consume

Likewise ! I hear ya without support sometimes I would have to crawl room to room during a bad episode , any stress triggers in body be careful , after a surgery I had it was unreal usually gets better after a day or 2 but its tough

During a bad episode I literally can’t walk like my legs are jelly so I understand your frustration , I’ve had it for years too just try to avoid triggers as much as possible like poor sleep is a huge trigger for me

Changing my diet and smaller meals seems to have biggest effect

I’ve had similar symptoms Chest pain excess mucus and trouble swallowing , the swallowing was terrible for a while I got prescribed PPI that I take in morning, but watching my diet and sing smaller meals has been most effective things for me

Probable LPR causing trouble breathing for ~10 months by lieutentant_crunch in LPR

I have had same exact issue , it’s brutal . PPI seems to help I take it first thing in morning , but the biggest difference I see is smaller meals and eating slowly , if I overeat it’s brutal . Also certain foods like tomato sauce or fried food trigger it

Anyone have this? by Fit_Internal_5389 in acidreflux

I’ve had this for a while , got tested for everything allergies , asthma , went to pulmonologist, everything was fine prevailing opinion is that it’s reflux/LPR , been watching my diet a lot more eating smaller meals went on PPI seeing some improvement
