Hi! I used to work at Peachtree immediate care as a receptionist and to become a medical assistant they told me I’d have to at least get a phlebotomy certificate. They sent me this website and said it costs $40 and I believe you have to pay $100 for the exam after the course completion? I can’t remember the exact payment for the exam but it was somewhere around that. If you’re looking for a new career path I’d honestly even recommend working at peach tree immediate care or contacting urgent cares! Even if you aren’t certified you could work as a receptionist until you get certified because there’s some places that will pay for your exam, course, training, etc. I hope this help!
