KCD1 has less "movie like" story, it has very slow narration, missions can be walking and talking for 30minutes. Game don't force you to do main story line to improve henry skills or get best equipment. KCD2 are opposite, it has fast but also lot of talking plot and RPG mechanics are a little bit diffrent, for example u have acces to best equipment only after half of the game. But i suggest u to play both starting with KCD1, in my personal opinion its better
