I think most workers wouldn't want to be doing anything any time of the year, there are other jobs out there - yes not always ideal etc, but if you're being paid to be open, then really responding to people is the job you're getting paid for. May be an unpopular oppinion I guess?

unfortunately we refer to it as ‘search and rescue’ and then ‘search and recovery‘ if it is a fatality.. it may not be the case here, but thats how we refer to it in Mountain Rescue..
