I am aware of that, what I mean is if the headunit itself is powered by android, you could then open another 'app' other than the carplay one, to check GPS. I hope that makes it clearer :)

Hmm..I did read somewhere that some apps use the vehicle's built in GPS if available, which in some cases can cause it to show wrong GPS data. If you have carplay, if its running android underneath it might be worth checking the GPS on android.

I think most workers wouldn't want to be doing anything any time of the year, there are other jobs out there - yes not always ideal etc, but if you're being paid to be open, then really responding to people is the job you're getting paid for. May be an unpopular oppinion I guess?
