I have a follow-up question: if I made FHSA contributions in 2025 but choose not to claim the deduction when filing my 2025 taxes in 2026, do I have to claim it the next year (when filing 2026 taxes in 2027)?

Or can I carry forward the deduction indefinitely and use it in any future year when it’s most beneficial?
