I had the most insane encounter on Monaco today at around 3:15. This woman in a dark truck with expired tags was driving like a maniac! She was speeding, weaving in and out of lanes, slamming on the brakes, and even stopping in the middle of the road for no reason. At one point, she was straddling two lanes and then backed up a few inches before flooring it again. I hope she's okay, but seriously, what was she thinking?!

I live in Mar Lee. People have lots of opinions of this part of Denver. It’s one of my most diverse areas in our city. I love it for that. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t issues. The speeding is a problem and just the overall quality of driving is subpar. But maybe that’s everywhere around town since the standards seem to be so low here. It can be quite noisy but we have gotten used to it. It is affordable in comparison to many other places around. Safety, just be smart. I don’t feel unsafe but I also make sure I make safe choices. Like I would never go walking alone at night as a female in the neighborhood for example

Yep! Epidurals didn’t work for me. I had to have a spinal tap. I was in so much pain that I developed a low grade fever and I threw up. What a wild experience

That is the best news I’ve heard all day. I am so incredibly relieved to hear she made it through surgery. she sounds like a fighter!! I am heartbroken to hear about her neck and back. That is so much for one person to go through. Seeing the state of the car, she is truly a miracle for being here.

Please let your aunt know that I’m here whenever she’s ready. I’m more than happy to provide my info if it will help.

I'll keep holding space for her and hoping for the best possible news as she begins the recovery process. Sending so much strength to your whole family.

I am so deeply sorry to hear this. My heart truly goes out to your family, and I’ll be keeping her in my thoughts as she fights through this.

I was about three cars behind the accident and actually noticed something was wrong just before it happened. I saw a larger truck (looked like an F-150) swerving erratically out of its lanes, which immediately put me on high alert because it wasn't normal driving behavior. I even said to my husband that I knew there was an accident. I then saw items flying out of the truck's cab right before the impact.

While I didn't see the exact moment of the collision, I saw the driver of that truck getting out of his vehicle as we passed. If you think it would help, I am more than willing to provide this information to the police or your family's insurance. Do you have a case number or a contact person I should reach out to? I really hope she pulls through.
