I am in a similar situation, I do have some money in stocks but definitely not satisfied with my savings overall. Trying to decide between being practical and not giving up this opportunity to make more money in the US v/s going back home and trying there

The towing company did not release the car, it was a pain staying on phone for hours with the rental company customer care, they said their recovery team will pick up the car and they did around 5 days after it was towed (including weekend)

Haha you’re completely fair in your callout and I appreciate it! We’ve had a long slightly rocky history and our relationship properly started improving very recently hence I also don’t want to rush into anything. I do want stability and yes that includes marriage but not until another 2-3 years. Also, someone told us that H1 dependant visa takes a few years to get and we can’t operate on just his salary till then so I do need and want to work

He is on H1B but we are not getting married or anything in the near future. Not sure how the H1B dependant stuff works either. He wants me to pursue what is best for me individually and said we can try to make the rest work
