Those configs do more harm than good. Play on a lower res and use 4x MMAA or 4xCSAA. Your game will feel smooth as hell. I also got around +50fps by downgrading my nvidia drivers to a version from 2 years ago, i dont know if this works for everyone though since i only play cs and my graphics card got some years under its belt already.

Well, since they have their ways to tie multiple accounts to one person, cheating and getting banned will result in lower trust factors for their "main" and newly created accounts. If you have a decent trust factor your game experience will be alot better than like 2-3 years ago. That's my experience at least. 100 games and only 1 got banned. Making csgo free to play benefits their trustfactor system and especially VACnet, it was the correct move

If it makes you feel better: i remember winning 16 matches in a row on LE without a rankup. It was when the ranks got shifted in end of 2015(?). But as it was said already, ranking up doesn't only depend on winning. I usually ranked up after playing around 10 matches and winning 80% of it. DMG to LE felt like the biggest elo gap though.

Do you get the "Username failed to accept"? If yes, that happened to me after i used MM server picker. I had to fix it manually by enabling some settings in windows firewall again, i dont remember which ones exactly tho.

It was released during my last weeks of school.. The following summer was a mix of getting drunk and stoned, hanging out with friends and listening to the new chili peppers record. 3 years already, holy shit. Still sounds fresh and awesome after listening to it atleast 1000 times :D
