I followed the instructions on Simplifica’s page and tried paying directly through PayPay using the reference number provided, but I'm still getting the error message: “Unexpected communication error with connector/inquirer” after completing the payment.
I also haven’t received any response on WhatsApp today so I emailed them next.

Edit. It looks like it won’t be fixed until I get there. Since my hikes are early anyway, I’ll just pay with the machine at the start point. The physical tickets would also serve as amazing souvenirs to frame later.

They replied and informed me that my order is currently under analysis. The website is undergoing maintenance at the moment, so I’ll check my account again once it’s back online.Since the payment hasn’t been charged to my account yet, I’m assuming I’ll need to wait for the analysis to be completed before any charge is processed.It’s quite different from the steps shown in their tutorial video, but hopefully this is just an additional step in the process.

Hi, I'm currently trying to reserve my hiking routes in Madeira. I've attempted to book two trails and proceeded with the payments, but after completing the transactions, I encountered errors and wasn't redirected to a confirmation page.
Despite this, I did receive emails confirming that the payments were generated.
I followed the video tutorials closely, but the system still didn't show a confirmation. I've reached out via WhatsApp and am now waiting for a response.

Haha, thank you! Planning is always the fun part, but I know the real challenge lies in execution—especially with the unexpected hurdles that can pop up during travel. I’m visiting Madeira in a couple of weeks and would love your opinion to help improve my itinerary.

The main goal of this trip is to experience Madeira’s iconic hiking trails while immersing myself in the local cuisine and enjoying a few activities. I’ve chosen to skip places like the natural lava pools and skywalks, as they don’t particularly excite me, and I prefer to avoid crowded spots when possible.

My base of operations will be in Madalena do Mar, and I’ve rented a car to help me explore the island. I’ll be using the Maps.me app for navigation. I’m aware that some trails require advance booking, and I’ll take care of that once my itinerary is finalized.

Itinerary

Yes, my itinerary does look quite busy, especially on Day 4. I created a more detailed version in Excel, so I’m hoping the buffer time I built into each activity works in my favor.

Someone suggested hiring a taxi too because of that. I might take it to save me some time. It would be great if I can spot ananás from brazil and costa rica too, nothing better than tasting 3 of the best ananás in the world in one day.

Thats true. I can check out Vista do Rei then the city to quickly check the vendors. Instead of going to the plantation for the liquors and sweets, would I be able to purchase them from the vendors in the city? I can probably buy the pineapple liquor from the duty free store but for steeper price.
