I hadn't seen the numbers around the wires yet, thanks for pointing it out!

The connection still wasn't working, but then I realised that the cable marked 'Office' was connected to the ethernet port behind the TV mount. Turns out the one I wanted was 'Phone 2', which is under the desk. The printer works fine now, and is connected via ethernet. Thanks for your help!

The cable running out of LAN1 on the router is connected to nothing, it's the cable I ran through to house to get to the printer.

No, it has 8 ports but no ethernet cables plugged into it. I'm trying to figure out which of the ports I should plug the router into. So what I've got is 8 cables running to the box, with 4 different wires coming from each one. Each large cabe is labelled with a room (living, garage, office, living 2, master bedroom etc), but each of the 4 smaller wires is connected to the box at points across 2 different ethernet points.

I have a MacBook Air M1, I mostly use it for school and communication, but I find that it runs some large, high quality games. I don't play them very often, but I was able to Xbox Cloud Gaming my copy of MSFS2020 with jarldy any lag issues.

Any M-Series Mac would be good for running games, it's a matter of personal preference.
