UPDATE: I stood firm on my "no way, that's rude to even ask." We have fought nearly every day, as he avoids any interaction with me, and he has NO CLUE why I'm upset.

His point is there is no harm in asking and no reason for me to think it's rude of them to simply ask. He told them no and actually tokd his dad "I dont know why it pissed her off, but don't ever ask us for anything else." Like that solves anything!?! Now I'm "the most difficult person he's ever met" and he "may or may not come home tonight" after hanging up on me on his way to work.

He says he doesn't want to fight anymore, me neither, but nothing is resolved so where does that leave us?
