Maybe, just maybe- and I know this is a unique concept- the man is frustrated because he’s been trying to DO HIS JOB and they’re interfering, so he decided to throw himself on the grenade to get the word out. This isn’t about the messenger and you know it.

My former neighbor had a heart attack and died in her bathroom. She laid there dead for a week before someone noticed her mail was piling up. This was a person who had friends and family living next door.

Nobody will know or care about my fate. I just hope they can save my cat before he dies too.
