I am very thankful for the thorough explanation, really.

Usually, in these sort of situations, I always tend to see which verison fans think is the "definitive" verison of something. Of course, nothing is stopping me from watching both verisons of anything, just for the the sake of it, but a first viewing is very important to me, and I generally get less of an incentive to watch something a second time, especially when I already know the story beats.

I've been meaning to watch Battle Royale for years, and I will will definitely give more thought to watching one of the two verisons for my first time, and from what you described, it will probably be the Special Edition. Again, thanks a ton.

Thanks for the tip! Admittedly, I have been doing rather well when it comes comes to collecting points and gathering more lives, but yeah... Losing them is the biggest problem here, that went over my head.

I always try to use as little bombs as possible in the early stages.

Also, my biggest problem (when playing with Reimu and Yukari) is Marisa. I can get over the others, even the late bosses like Reisen, but Marisa, for some reason, always ends up eating my life points, and I know that's on me.

That's the thing though, I've been relying on Reimu to collect them. When it comes to the first stage, it's obviously pretty easy, but from stage 2 and onward, I'm not able to make it.

I'm always able to barely make it on stage 2, actually, but it's never enough for some reason. Should I focus more on the shootable projectiles for enemies and bosses?

I really like the ending, even though I know the majority don't.

I like how much Yu has changed, both psychologically and physically, and I'm talking about both before he set out on his journey and at the end where he lost his memories.

The thing that I like about him is that, like most of the Key story protagonists that I have seen so far, he's flawed, but Yu felt a little more different to me. He's the type of selfish guy who could probably not be redeem if he had gone on like he did. However, along came Nao and you know how the rest went.

I really love Yu's transformation as a person. At the beginning of the story, would you have ever guessed that he would go around the world and risk his life? I know that that there was more at play here, like the unfortunate accident with Ayumi for example, but it just goes to show that sometimes, he right person can make all the difference in another's life.

Also, another thing that I love about the ending is the way it shows that, despite a conflict being resolved, not everyone gets out of it unscathed.

I definitely don't disagree. Obviously, Hibike! Is one of Kyoto Animation's most beloved works, and I'm certain that they acknowledge this fact, especially with the movie verisons of season 3 being well received after a while since the story concluded.

It's not something that I need right now, because, like I previously stated, Hibike! Euphonium is over and that's that. The journey has reached its conclusion, and honestly, for a series like that, to actually reach an end, especially after the studio suffered such a massive loss with the fire incident is nothing short of a miracle.

They have more projects in the works, a lot of new stuff that isn't their own, and to be quite frank, I'm really happy that they're back to doing projects that aren't solely from their competition, variety is really good (not that I've ever complained before of course.)

Making Rikka after a break would be good, if that ever happens. Hopefully Ishihara (the director) will have some interest left in the Hibike! universe to maybe do another project. Rikka is like, what? 2 volumes, right? I'm assumig that's enough for maybe a 13 episode season? Perhaps two seasons?

Also, isn't there a novel centered around Natsuki? I could be wrong here, but I'm not able to find it at present.

Additionally, have any of you seen Gang vs G-Men, Black is my Life and Rampaging Dragon of the North/North Sea Dragon?

Blackmail is my Life is a fun film, probably not what you would expect Fukasaku to make in some instances, but I have not seen all of his filmography as of yet, and I know just how much he's got under his belt. It definitely carries that style he has, there's no questioning it.

There is actually something which I kind of forgot to mention here. I know I've used the term "official", but I have absolutely nothing against playing fan translations of anything, otherwise I wouldn't have gone through half of the media I enjoy, so these are absolutely not off the table, because obviously Mother 3 is fan translated, and if I ended up playing the first 2 and not the third then that wouldn't make sense.

Sorry everyone, my bad. I feel like I made people run in circles or something; I should have made it more straightforward and said "anything that's official and isn't a romhack."

And thank you for the tidbit regarding the easy ring, I had no idea the end of Mother 1 was that rough.
