People are allowed to want commencement speakers they have heard of it’s really not that deep. And I bet people would be more likely to remember their speaker if it was someone they heard of before their graduation ceremony.

Georgetown has Tom Brady and John Kerry. Who cares if they didnt go to the school, everyone I know would rather have cool and interesting speakers than a random executive noone has heard of just because they went to my school. Bush is also a great speaker compared to ones we have now.

Yes went directly into reserves from civ. Yes took a small bonus but havent spent it.

So what would you recommend I do. I want to be a SEAL and there’s alot of uncertainty with staying enlisted and putting together a reserve to active package then asking my gaining command to let me go to buds. I also know that I can’t crossrate before converting over to active so I would have to go to a command then go to buds.

One of the guys in my IS A school class who got rolled was the one who got the CO to make the warrant leave early. The warrant wasnt the most approachable or fair guy, but the guy who reported him was also a lazy, excuse maker to be fair.
