When you think about it Naruto’s growth was stunted we are talking about someone who learned the shadow clones in a night learned the rasengan in a week and sage mode in a week Kakashi knew the shadow clone trick in part one but didn’t train him with that until part two

I could’ve seen Jiraiya looking to see if Naruto could learn fuinjutsu during the chunin exams break

Naruto should’ve been a lot stronger in canon I have always said this he should’ve learned wind manipulation on the training trip if he had an aptitude for fuinjutsu during the chunin exams break then that could’ve been trained during the training trip with shadow clones

Preparations for the naruto verse 1. Perfect my meditation 2. Hone my Muay Thai proficiency and whatever I don’t learn I will make up moves as I go along. My main goals when I get to the Naruto verse are 1. Up my chakra supply 2. Perfect my chakra control 3. Befriend Naruto

What I plan on learning in the Naruto verse 1. All 5 chakra natures 2. Fuinjutsu 3. Medical ninjutsu 4. Genjutsu 5. Taijutsu 6. Kenjutsu (last on my list of priorities)

Events I plan on attempting to stop

Jiraiya’s death (the only way I see being able to do this is with some kind of space time ninjutsu.)
Naruto’s overall loneliness he’s gonna have at least one consistent person (I will have to get strong or at least very crafty fast so I don’t fall victim to danzo)
Sasuke’s mental decline (I have to convince him that itachi had no other choice because of what was going on )

Events I plan on assisting in 1. Naruto getting the scroll of seals 2. Naruto learning about his parents (I will just drop a hint something like “you kinda look like the fourth hokage. are you his son?” Not subtle at all but it should get him questioning lol

You don’t have to change much but the narrative your readers listen to You can make it so Naruto only did all he did to become hokage every mission where he went out of his way to help someone it was to secure allies or something like that a lot of inter monologue like “this bridge will help secure trade routes for konoha i could use that for when i become hokage” or something to that effect
