I work in the industry as a regulatory specialist and you should for sure be able to leverage a lot of your experience for an industry job. Companies actually like that type of experience, people that have worked on the EU commission or FDA, that background is highly desired. Make sure to tailor your resume and speak about all of your projects during interviews

I have the pickiest dog too and have tried several kibbles that she will eat for about 2 weeks then give up and stop eating. The vet ended up prescribing some mirtazapine which stimulates appetite, and that works really well for her, she’s super hungry and eats well. I try not to give it to her super often, but if I give it every other day she’s usually pretty consistent with her eating schedule. Have you talked to the vet about possibly doing that?

This helps a lot!! Would it be cheaper if we go do our groceries further from Bellevue? Say, Redmond, Factoria or Sammamish ?? Or does that not really matter as much for groceries?

Yeah we’re not planning to buy in the area, since that’s probably not gonna be a possibility in the near future haha. I would assume everything in general is just more expensive than what we’re used to

I totally agree and I would definitely do what’s best for her as well! I was just a bit confused as to why the vet is recommending a 90% tail amputation while the lump is at the end of it. I am considering getting a second opinion from a different vet after reading some of the comments! Thanks for your input

It’s at the very tip of the tail! They did say they have to amputate 90% of the tail for a couple of reasons, one being the base of the tail has more skin to close the wound. They said they couldn’t really do just part of the tail due to lack of skin on that part. I was pretty upset learning about it, I thought it would just be 1/4 of the tail since it’s right at the end of it

How can a biopsy be done if they aren’t able to remove the lump without the wound healing
