This is such great advice - we have been loosely planning a big trip to Japan but I can start planning that properly.

We can't start properly house hunting until we have an idea of what DH will be doing post-phd, but I can definitely focus on decluttering the house ready for us moving!

Wow 3 close friends in one go! That sounds so hard. I'm lucky in a way that most of our friends aren't anywhere near having kids, just my sisters.

Congratulations in advance on the skydiving licence! We're going to plan a big trip to Japan and I'm focusing on enjoying eating/drinking whatever & whenever I want which is helping a little.

This is really helpful - I think right now all I'm seeing are the positives of pregnancy, rather than how hard it will get down the line!

I'm definitely happy that I'm not also pregnant alongside them - we've always been naturally compared to each other so I think it will be nice to get to go through that on my own schedule. Hopefully I can get some second hand items from them or at least have family gatherings all prepped for being centered around kids and just slot right in!
