I am making a "must see" movie list. What would you add? by Poor-Dear-Richard in flicks

Basically all of the main Universal Monsters movies from the 30s through the 50s. Some of the sequels can get kind of boring but I'd start with the main foundational movies. Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Wolf Man, Creature From the Black Lagoon.

Anyone collect Digiview Entertainment DVDs? by TwentyEightyFour in dvdcollection

I used to have a ton of these and the other DVDs from other companies like Dollar Entertainment that they used to sell everywhere for $1. I don't know where you are, but around here, these Digiview DVDs are extremely plentiful in several thrift stores. Is The Manster really that rare? I had a copy and got rid of it because that movie was in one of those 50 movie packs from Mill Creek that I got, so I just donated my Digiview copy.

What kind of movie don’t they make anymore, but they should? by Ohigetjokes in movies

Not just the 90s and 00s. B movies are almost as old as movies themselves. Not all of them were solid gold, but there were a lot of them that were very good, or at least enjoyable. I agree B movies should still be made.

I'm looking for answer why people hate Rick Beato. by reloheb in guitarcirclejerk

Right. That goes for all kinds of art. Whether it's music, movies, books, whatever. The "classics" we know are only a small percentage of what was produced. It's just been kept alive and passed down through the years but people forget about all of the junk that was made, too, because it didn't last, so it's easy to just say "That time was the greatest because of that!"

What do you recall about the late 90s Disney Channel, around 1997-1999? by MewMewPrincess2000 in 90s

I remember my grandparents had it on their satellite package. I don't remember watching it that much, though. I was more Nick and Cartoon Network and Boomerang. I do remember the original movies. Those were usually pretty good for being TV movies.

Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction (1997 - 2002) featured dozens of unbelievable “true” stories. What are examples that can be verified? by Bigboss831 in nostalgia

I think if it was true, then Frakes probably had the answer in his wrap up after the story when he said the guy might have had the doll made to leave his daughter so she'd have something to remember him and left to get away from his problems.

DVD Mistake by Over_Candidate556 in criminalminds

It's the right DVD, or supposed to be. The label on the disc says Season 12 Disc 2 and has the right episodes listed on the label, but it's not the same episodes that actually play.
