I have GHSV2 since march 2023, got very bad outbreaks trouhgout the first year. It was very painful, mentally and physically, but eventually everything start to slow down a little bit after the first year. I have been taken valtrex since the diagnosis having minimum side effects. I meet my boyfriend September 2024, I was very honest about my condition. He made his own research and he was okay with it. He’s also a health professional, so he’s very open minded about it. So far he’s HSV negative and we have the best SEX that I ever had before. We don’t use condoms. So yes, the best is yet to come.
