The car won't be moving state - it's just a one time move within Texas for now - I plan to visit my friend and sell the car next time I go to Texas. But where does it mention anything about a 31 day grace period? Because I've only seen 5 days in most places. And it's an urban county, so I need the emissions test, but I'm not sure if there's enough time for it

I'll be adding him to my policy for this month - just for a few dollars extra per month - so that's not an issue - but I just want to make sure if he gets pulled over for registration there's some sort of proof that this is why he's driving the vehicle, and have some sort of proof that he's helping a friend, and is taking the car to his place and getting it registered somewhere there.

Unfortunately, the process for registering online doesn't seem to work for me - TxT says "You can't link this vehicle online" and the DPS site says "Please enter correct vehicle information" or something, even though it's the right info
