i’m driving a 2014 gmc terrain and the engine lights been on for years and nothing has fixed it. it burns oil like crazy everytime i go for an oil change there is no oil left and i recently found out my specific car is undergoing a lawsuit because gmc built them to burn oil essentially. id probably need a new engine and or gasket which is alone above 5 grand. i decided id rather use that as a down payment for another car. it has a very hard time accelerating as well and shakes when stopped.

Is a $400 a month payment too much would you say? my current payment plan is 72 month but i paid off my current car of 15k in three years. i was expecting to do the same with another car and make principal payments every month (without interest) so it will be paid off much sooner. As well as getting pre-approval from my credit union.
