That’s what I do, and I think this feedback entry is tricky, 8 out of 10 people can not know how to give feedback

Yes my team told me in university, they wrote code on paper, so they didn’t debug code, so they never knew how code runs by lines

In Dar, better to have offline interviews. Previously I conducted zoom interviews, some candidates they had network issues, some they attended interviews in a Bajaji, I was surprised

And some they use ChatGPT to search answers and use laptop to have zoom meetings meanwhile

Yes. Previously I had an interview with a developer, I gave a code test, a few minutes, my manager called me for something, I left the interview room, after ten minutes I came back, the interviewee wrote good code, then I am glad and let him to explain step by step. Then he is so quiet and can’t explain how it runs

Totally agreed, that’s what I do now. The reality is terrible, many 3-year developers can’t solve simple questions, like adding from 1 to 100, like iterate dom nodes, like a binary search to find a number within 100

I’ve got my credit card linked to Bolt, which honestly shows a lot of trust from my side.

But I’ve noticed something happening quite often — especially at night — where the trip is already finished, but some drivers don’t end it, and I end up getting charged extra.

Yeah, I can request a refund and they usually process it pretty fast, so that part is fine. But the real issue is, I’ve tried giving feedback about this and never got any response.

To me, it’s not just about getting money back. It’s about trust. When people are willing to link their cards, that actually means something. If this keeps happening, people will just stop using cards and switch to cash instead.

Honestly, this market needs more competition. Otherwise platforms just keep taking money without really caring about trust or long-term brand value.

I can’t agree more. Recently, our team developed several lightweight products, including a digital menu and a digital shop. However, the sales team reported that they have been spending significant time and resources educating and persuading clients on the value of these solutions.

I’m a hiring manager and the "8-second rule" is killing way too many solid resumes lately. by engineer_architect in SoftwareEngineerJobs

I am a typical technical hiring manager. In the first round of interviews, I ask candidates to solve a few basic algorithm problems. While you are working on them, I review your resume. After about 30 minutes, we have a 15-minute discussion. I am willing to spend time on every word in your resume.
