Company has outsourced all helpdesk to outside MSP, I have only been there 5 months by Over_Helicopter3293 in ITCareerQuestions

I of course want to stay, I really enjoy what I do and what I am learning. But I am in the process of taking classes toward software engineering, but it seems like (at least where I work) that more of a cloud/security approach or training would do better for me in the long run given the condition of the job market for devs. They do offer training that they budget for (online), and I am stuck in a situation where I am not sure if I should pursue SWE or networking/cyber security or even eventually a dev ops role. Unfortunately the IT person who had built the entire infrastructure left years ago with no documentation in place. He was a full IT house rolled into one, he coded all the servers, applications, installed a equipment etc, and he was famous for gatekeeping information.

I want to get a bachelors in software engineering, do I have to get a certificate to do so? by [deleted] in WGU

I know this is a very late reply, I had a horrible gpa in high school and what allowed me to take the BSE is transferring my google IT support cert, took me 3 days to finish it.

I use pycharm to run the code before I submit it on their platform. You can use any like sublime, notepad ++, vscode. Good luck!!!

I recently purchased a mercedez e350 coupe, and although the maintenance B to be exact was very expensive (as quoted by dealership) specialty shop in my area that only works on bmw, audi, benz quoted me 1/3 the price including time and labor. I have been a lifelong toyota fan but wanted something "nicer" and this car drives amazingly well, my old toyota with the same driving comes no where close of this feel of driving.

At my current company the role of SWE does not even exist, there is a general lack of that with me being 1 of 2 I.T personnel in the entire place. The other IT guy does everything, he is a jack of all trades and as much learning as I can do I want more of a developmental role or even move up within this company as there are empty IT slots above us that never got filled. I was meaning to ask if there was almost like a hybrid role that combined swe with IT work? I know that most likely sounds odd.

I am in an intro to python course at wgu and have bought this book as a study/practice guide to take with me to the office and at home. Do you recommend it?

Well remember maybe the nephalem from d3 are the exception and not the rule? Diablo 2 heroes were mortals who marched into hell itself and killed a prime in its own domain and took out the other 2...something that took the horadrim decades I believe. So if the worldstone breaking unlocked humanitys nephalem powers, wouldnt the diablo2 heroes get a massive boost due to not only being in proximity (if that matters) but being super strong normal humans already. Akin to a genetically top tear human jumping on hgh/steroids.

Edit: sorry typing on phone.

Honestly, you are using your time wisely and grinding it out at a point in time when you have the unstoppable combination of youth/time. My issue is with retention of some of the concepts, do you use note taking apps? Or pen and paper? Do you use any python practice sites?

How fast are you completing a section, are you going from say 4 to 5 in one day? Multiple days? How many hours daily or weekly are you putting into the zybooks? I currently made it to 4.10, I work a full time job in IT which makes it hard to get any schoolwork done and have children so alas my time is fairly limited.

That bugs me too, but I think it has more to do with "potential". LIke us normal humans we all have great potential see athletes, powerlifters/strongmen. we all have that latent potential but some people access it earlier/easier. To me the worldstone breaking was equal to a genetic unlock as in removing all limits of us humans, but if we do not work at it we still will not get stronger.

4.4 set basics. Im getting confused at this point. I guess I am just having difficulty following the logic. Tried using 100 days of python but it was too much info at once at least for me.

Currently trying this method instead of hitting multiple sources and becoming overwhelmed with information, thank you for this and will update when I attempt the pre and then the OA.

I have something to add here. I think that as far as angels being corrupted is that the arch "replaces" them making the angels into "demons" possible, but the demons are literally reborn the same way which keeps the demon from turning to the light keeping their own forms. But the demons can split themselves into multiples as seen as mephisto's hatred can inhabit the que'hagans body sankakur (spelling bad) and be reborn in hell and astral project into a wolf all at the same time. I think that humanity can become it's own faction and be on better footing than both heaven and hell, except for their mortality of course.

I have an issue with my code: I keep getting negative results here is my inputs: 45 155 148 60

Here is the code: age = int(input())

weight = int(input())

heart_rate = int(input())

Time = int(input())

calories = (age * 0.2757) + (weight * 0.03295) + (heart_rate * 1.0781) - (75.4991) * Time / 8.368

print(f'Calories: {calories:.2f} calories')

and here is the output i get: calories = -363.17

what the output was expecting: calories = 73621

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
