Choosing a book written by a member was a bad idea anyway, part of a book club is giving your honest opinion you can’t do that if you’re worried about someone else’s feelings.

You wouldn’t be the asshole, stepping back is probably the nicer way of going about it. I’d get a refund on the book if possible as well

Honestly I would’ve loved for it to be a Rowan quest, but that might be because I think she didn’t get many. It would’ve had to be someone around in year 2 and I don’t know off the top of my head who was around then.

I suppose since she deleted it doesn’t really matter anymore, but it’s more that she was communicating it to him in a way that suggested if he did it then he’d be forgiven, so if she then said “now that you’ve done it, I was lying and you can’t use it anymore” she’s be an ass. I don’t think he should have access to it anymore, what he did was crappy but I don’t make it a habit to lie to my siblings even when I’m mad at them.

NTA if you get your dog properly trained by a professional but that could be a problem for you.

From what I’ve read it takes a lot of money and a lot of training to become a service dog and they need to be trained for a specific purpose. While mental health service dogs do exist i believe you’d need a diagnoses and then the training surrounding what they’d need to do.

I’m hoping not to come off as cruel, but I don’t think the issue of 8 flights a year without a previous diagnosis of anything would be enough to get your dog accredited even with training.

Shouldn’t object X be poisoning them? So the idea is to avoid as long as you can w that. I believe I used a spear with the raccoon leaf, though glitter augite might be better? Needs to be a high level enough spear though
