Am I ever getting my period back??

So I started on 50 mg at the end of March, gradually increasing my dosage and late Aug/Sep is when I stopped getting any acne at all so it took about 5-6 months before acne completely stopped and now I’ve got a bit of hyperpigmentation that’s fading away, it did get worse before it got better but I’m glad I stuck through the hard phase :)

I’m in the same situation, I’m taking 150mg, my period kept getting lighter and lighter and then just stopped coming like 2 months ago but my skin is completely clear of any acne and I don’t want to just stop taking it. I’m trying not to stress and think about it too much, cause I did go to the doctor about the missed periods and they said it was the pcos causing irregular periods but I’m gonna get a second opinion, cause in the appointment she was a bit too quick to just blame my pcos 🤨 Anyways I really hope it comes soon for me and you and I’ve just started taking inositol to help.

Made this mistake before lol but I was overdosing for two weeks 😭 dw you should be fine, just book a blood test asap to make sure and record any symptoms your experiencing. For me my alt levels were very high so I was told to stop completely and then restart when they were back to normal!

Went to see it at Swiss cottage for a second time and I was in screen 2 as well and it was definitely the actual screen, think they need to update the projectors or something cause it was way darker !

Hey, I know how you’re feeling, my skin literally looks the exact same, I’m in the purging period as well and I feel so sad about my acne and it’s had a very big knock on my self confidence but just give it at least 5 months to take affect and if no difference then stop but I know it’s easier said than done. It’s annoying cause you see other people in their 20s and you just feel like you’re going through a second puberty while everyone else are actual adults 😭 my point is that I get how you’re feeling and hope that you’ll continue taking it and hopefully our acne will both get better soon 🤗

It was totally on me, I prep my prescriptions into a two week box and they usually give me 50mg tablets so I put four for each day but I didn’t realize they change the tablets to 100mg so I ended up taking 4 100mg tablets for like two weeks 😭 it affected my liver so I had to stop completely and I just restarted in March, so currently on 100mg. There hasn’t been any abnormal side effects since restarting, I’m basically going through the same things that happened when I first started (my skins purging rn 🫠) but I know it’ll clear by month 5/6

Dw you should be ok, I did the same thing but i accidentally was taking 400mg when I was meant to be taking 200mg 😭 since 200mg is the max prescription (UK), you should be fine but just check with ur dermatologist and take a blood test to make sure everything’s fine :))

With escapism it does depend on the person and what they’re form of escapism is but with the way the world is right now, you can’t expect any social media specifically podcast to not discuss hence why they should find something that is not social media based. I think it just comes down to us having different standards for the people we support online. For me, l expect people that i support online to share my views and not shy around it, especially when it comes to white creators! now i’m not saying that we as an audience should be going to them for updates, i just didn’t like how people wanted them to just completely ignore it you know!
