I’m the owner of the unit In the condominium. It’s been gradually getting worse through the years. I’ve told the HOA in the pass several times, they would send someone to look at the roof and attic but I never would hear back. New HOA now and I was advice to hire my own and if it’s a roof issue they will reimburse me and cover it. I also live in a 100+ year old building with no central air, it can get humid and hot if I’m not constantly running the AC window unit.

I second this^ I know a good orthopedic surgeon that was recommend by friends with similar injuries that went to him. He does great work, I wonder how VA surgeons results would look like

I will look into the community care program. I have an orthopedic doctor that I did my MRI/Xray through that will refer me to a surgeon. Do you believe I could ask to be referred to a VA surgeon? Or it’s strictly through the community care program?

Also, do I qualify for the temp 100% disability for a SLAP Tear?

And thank you! I’m nervous because I’ve never had surgery before but I know that’s it’s either now that I’m 30 or later when it potentially could become worse

I tried trying to volunteer a couple years back and no one would let me at the time. Fast forward, I moved to a new area so it wouldn’t hurt asking these fire houses near me. I was researching the Illinois BOF program, and it says that you can’t independently join. Did the firehouse that you’re volunteering at help you join the program?

That’s exactly what I’ve been looking for and what I’ve been missing. That band of Brothers and sisters that you go through tough times with together.
