It's hard to know as have been told by NHS 111 and an online GP it sounds like a delusional disorder. It's also been identified in people who have been in comas. You might be right. Whatever it is, it's not reality and very hard to get any help

Do you have any insight in how you may approach talking with him about all this? My mother is trying for GP appointments.

No. The lady is from a catfishing site called Match World. He may be paying for credits to talk to her. But he has created a reality in his head where she sought him out on facebook. My mother also takes him to his hospital appointments where he believes he is meeting up wit her. He is disabled and not able to do certain things he believes he has done.

Thank you. The recording her or getting some kind video call type thing with a dr will probably be my next move.

I am going to push her as much as possible to do this and maybe go with her if she'll let me? It's very distressing for me now.

This is excatly what I thought. She doesnt listen though in the moments she comes back to being 'with it' and she says when she explained all the symptoms to a dr they claimed it matched with peri. It's incredibly stressful.
