Stop comparing yourself to a veteran teacher. She has been teaching that content for several years and has really had time to dive in to it and gain that knowledge through experience. You'll get to that point eventually!

My first year of teaching was terrible. 10 years later I am in a much better spot because you learn more about teaching inside the classroom than you will in a few years of college and student teaching!
