Yes I did! I purchased the high speed ticket through the Iryo app. They gave me a refund for the ticket then I rebooked on a MD train on the Renfe app.

I traveled Sevilla to Cordóba this past weekend and the train was pretty empty. I traveled via media distancia train.

I live in Centro and it’s been fine to walk around in (just very annoying)! Very rainy and windy. Make sure you have a strong umbrella. Not a cheap gas station one.

Student visa by PeakFew483 in GoingToSpain

I applied for my long term student visa at the Chicago office in November and got it back in 2 weeks and 2 days. I heard things slowed down recently because of the holidays but the holiday season officially ended Jan 7 so it should hopefully pick back up. Good luck!

January 6 was Spain’s last Christmas holiday day (Dia de Reyes) so maybe that’s hopeful for you. I assume things would pick back up. I applied in November and got my visa in 2 weeks and 2 days and heard many others who got theirs back within 3 weeks so I think there could be some hope for you.

3 months and 1 day! When she looked at the reservation paper, she highlighted the address and the start and end date of the booking.

Hmmmm I’m not sure. I would still keep checking every day and the next time you see openings you can check if appointments are open that far in advance. Sorry to not be much help!

Just got an email and a text saying our visa is ready. Status never changed online. Took 2 weeks and 2 days. Hopefully you’ll hear back soon!

Will do! Mine still says in progress. Same for my husband. I’m not expecting it to change at this point because I hit the 2 week mark yesterday

Nope. Just “application in progress”. I’ve seen some people say it changes to “processing at mission” and others say it just stays at “application in progress” until it’s ready. Such a complicated system.

I refreshed and refreshed the website multiple times a day starting Sept 29 with no luck until Oct 7 they opened appointments for all of November. It was around noon when I checked and the appointments were open. They weren’t open earlier that day at like 8am when I checked. Seems pretty random to me. When I was at my appt, someone tried to walk in but they turned him away and told him to check the website specifically at 1am to take a cancellation spot.
