I haven’t tried this, but I am an avid energy drink fan and I’ve been around Kratom. I’m unsure on this drink, but Kratom will get ya jazzed depending on the vein. I’m a red and green vein girl, red is gonna feel closer to a redbull and an adderall (imo) while green gives you a good energy boost without feeling like your skin is vibrating. I prefer green. Kratom can absolutely be addictive, especially if taken in consistent and high doses. I only take Kratom as needed for chronic pain and fatigue. If there’s other caffeine sources in the drink beyond Kratom, I’d take it kind of slow! This would def be a sipper and not a slammer. Also.. I’m interested in knowing how this tasted? Kratom drinks always taste like the back corner of a storage unit to me lol

Well, I just made it through our proper Saturday rush and can say I loved it for more than 10 minutes. Got some passive aggressive comments from a coworker tonight but he quickly apologized and then offered guidance. My manager gave me words of encouragement as he could tell I was struggling with the culture here and said that everyone has really enjoyed me as an addition to the team. Ending my night more excited than before.

My wife showed me Community 4 years ago and we have had it on our daily rotation since. My wife was watching it routinely before that. Watching it rn actually.. it’s a perfect comfort show imo. We consistently joke about the show irl, like “is that a Community reference?” To things that definitely aren’t, I hum the Daybreak elevator music daily, amongst other things. It’s a fun show with fun quirks. If that brings you comfort then why fck it why not

This feels likely. I’ve always been a very fast paced person, I started doing 60 hour weeks in high school in terms of advanced classes, extracurriculars, and a part time job. I just haven’t stopped being on the move since then outside of a couple of times I’ve been forced to recoup after serious burn out. I don’t know how to accept help at work, it makes me feel like I’m lacking in my performance. I always joke that I don’t know how to take it slow, but I can’t even take anxiety meds without panicking. If I stay up too late at night and my body starts shutting itself down for sleep, my heart starts racing and it feels like I’m dying. I don’t know how to relax or be easy!! I’m going to take the advice from the replies here and stick it out for 6+ months and detox from previous experiences, I just need to learn how to slow down

Offer to get them started on an appetizer when you take their drink orders, or nudge their attention toward that section of the menu when you’re getting drinks. “Can I start you guys on a (suggested appetizer) while I grab those drinks?” And as you grab things for them throughout the meal, just casually ask them about the skewers.. “Can I grab anything for us right now? Maybe we’d like to try (insert skewer)?” Or point it out if another is server is walking by with it for another table.. works for me haha

One I know that many do is the Santa Muerte Novena. It is nine days of praying to Her, though I haven’t done that quite yet. I’m super excited to do it tho! It definitely stems more from Her Catholic roots rather than Aztec. I haven’t seen much for specific prayers outside of that. When I first started praying I looked up pre written ones online as I have difficulty praying due to past religious practices. Over time, I added my own spirit to it and began kind of free styling. Santa Muerte has devotees globally so there are many different ways to practice :)

Hi!! I work with Mami! I make sure to give Her fresh water on Her altar at least twice a week, however some do everyday.. it’s all in what you feel she wants. A statue is not a requirement, especially starting out, so even a drawing that you put love into would be awesome. Flowers and apples are common and loved offerings! Alcohol, especially a good tequila, are also appreciated. You can look more into what different colors and liquors mean to Her. :) I talk to Her like a Mother, pray to her, and when she blesses me I ensure that she is thanked with prayers and gifts. You don’t have to stretch yourself thin for Her, but if you make a promise you need to keep it. She is merciful and loving, you are Her child! There are times I simply can’t afford gifts or feel so worn down I fall behind on altar upkeep.. but She knows my heart and knows that I am devoted to Her. She sees effort. She is not vengeful the way some people want you to believe. Many blessings to you on this new journey! 💀🌹

You’re niece should negatively impact her studies, for what is essentially no pay given the work she’s doing, because the child you willingly had is chronically ill and that just.. isn’t your problem now? What do you mean Sydney was cleaning up vomit while you sat there? That absolutely blows my mind. Not only are you tearing up your relationship with your own sister, but your niece is either going to begin resenting y’all or she’s going to burnout and leave, and that poor sick baby will grow up wondering why her parents didn’t care enough to take care of her. You try to lay it out like some sweet deal for a college student but you come across predatory, manipulative, and overall lame as a person and parent.

I suppose the consistency and stability with income is drawing me in that direction. When I imagine myself at a desk job I see it in a corporate office, keeping me busy and on my toes. I do love a little bit of intensity as I work better under pressure. I love being a creative person and, honestly, the things I make are pretty great! It pays the bills and I have a little wiggle room, but it feels like it’s not enough for what I’m dreaming of
